Jun. 9th, 2009 12:36 amStar walked out of the forest cover--
It's anyone's guess really to how,
-- with slow, careful steps, very faintly hitching each time. Uncertain as to where and when her steps will stop, wincing just the barest amount each time they do. The hem of her blue-silver skirts muddied and torn, her toes, equally mudded but not only caked with it alone, were all that peeked out from the bottom.
It's anyone's guess really to how,
or even more why, she was there.
Especially now.

Mar. 9th, 2008 05:05 amHis hand in hers (cold burning warm Safe) Star lead her young companion from Milliways.
Shadows on her skin set her to glittering, so that she shimmered and shone in the darkness, without even a constituted effort. She was a candle in the dark night, seen for ages across the land because hers was not a light that could fade into a shadow. The gait of her pale feet was slow, two inches above the grass, and her eyes, delighted the same this night as the first she could remember, rested upon the sky for a long silent stroll.
And then, far enough away that the sound of the ocean was closer than the voices, but not so far that comfort and home were not near, Star settled herself. Seemed to slip through the air like it were a water, sitting down on it and looking up at him.
Her blue-silver eyes could be seen through the night and the glimmer of her expectant smile.

May. 24th, 2007 09:33 pmHigh in the sky, the realm of dream, where the lights twinkled gently, she danced usually. Glittering as she spun back and forth, shimmering in the deep darkness for those who sought, for those in need, and, especially, for those who'd dream.
But tonight she was not dancing. She was watching. With as much a trouble expression as peace could watch.
The family was discordant, and their prey was trembling.
She had been content to let them wile away their paths as they usually were ought to do. To simply go on with her own in the dark sapphire-obsidian sky, as she was ought to do. She'd passed on the first nights inkling distracted by the passing of an aged and ornery red dwarf. She'd passed the second night because something had been wrought she could not step between.
But she did not pass on third.
And that was when Star came to visit Draco Malfoy because he was calling for her, even though he did not know it.
